After four successful seasons together and completing the longest season in Formula One history, Sergio Perez and Oracle Red Bull Racing have reached an agreement to part ways in 2025. The Mexican and the team are terminating the contract signed in the summer of 2024 ahead of schedule.

Checo joined Oracle Red Bull Racing for the 2021 season and in four seasons and 90 race starts with the team, the Mexican driver has experienced his most successful period in his 13 years in Formula 1. In addition to his five wins, including a victory at the Monaco Grand Prix and two victories at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, which earned him the reputation as the "King of the Streets of Formula 1", Checo helped the team win two Constructors' Cups in 2022 and 2023. As vice-champion in the individual championship last year, he also secured the team's first first and second places.
